The first papercraft

 I like dragons and I always have. One day when  I was on-line, looking for a sewing pattern for a toy dragon, I came across a little green papercraft dragon. Having never made any papercraft, I had no idea that it wasn't the easiest  of models, so I printed it out and proceeded to cut and glue it together.When I was done it was a mess! But... I could see the potential so I tried again, and again. This was the first paper model I tried and it led to many more. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of that first one. Hummingbirds

I love hummingbirds, so when I found this one at Epson's web sight I just had to make it, and I have made quite a few. Mostly I make them small by printing them at 70% or even smaller. I glue a floral wire inside it as I glue it with the wire coming out the beak so It can be inserted into the center of a flower. It is cute,placed in an arrangement of paper flowers. Speaking of flowers, here are a few:

ABCs

Like many papercraft web sites, this one is in Japanese, but the download is a pdf file and the instructions on the download page are easy to understand drawings.
I printed these at 70% so they would be smaller. They turned out really cute, and the little girl got to learn a couple of new words: Q for quoits (a ring toss game)  and R for rusksack (a backpack.)

I've used these for several other projects,the palm tree. the yacht,and the house, to name a few.
They are easy to make and there are both colored and un-colored  versions, for more options, and each one is only 1 page.
